David Cope, MD

David Cope was born in Chicago but raised in Las Vegas, NV. He studied and graduated from Weber State College, with a two-year hiatus serving an LDS mission to South Africa where he learned to speak Afrikaans. Now a Family Medicine Physician in Bountiful, Dr. Cope has great interest in women’s health including routine obstetrics, as well as pediatrics. Dr. Cope performs the full scope of family medicine services, from routine physicals and blood work to urgent care concerns like fractures and infections.

Dr. David Cope is passionate about preventative health. He currently sits on Utah’s chapter of the Center for Disease Control committee. He’s also been active in boy scouting and volunteering as a physician for three decades at Philmont Scout Ranch. Dr. Cope and his wife Laurie have five grown children. Backpacking, camping, hiking, and skiing are among his favorite hobbies in his free time.


Bryce Peterson, MD

Dr. Bryce Peterson enjoys the broad spectrum of family medicine: caring for newborns, those on hospice, and everyone in between. After obtaining his medical degree from Ohio State University, he completed a residency locally at McKay-Dee Hospital. Dr. Peterson is a family doctor who is also board-certified in Obesity Medicine. In addition to his family practice, he also offers weight loss services in Bountiful.

Bryce loves spending time with his lovely wife Shonni and their two sons, hiking, and occasionally riding a bicycle. He also enjoys gardening, wood working, making fine ice-creams, reading new books, and good jokes.


Raymond Ward, MD

Raymond Ward has strong ties to Bountiful—he is a graduate of Woods Cross High School and currently a Utah Legislator in the House of Representatives. He represents House District 19, which includes most of Bountiful. Dr. Ward is currently a Family Practice Physician and Urgent Care Provider at Ogden Clinic. In addition to providing the full scope of family medicine for adults and children, Dr. Ward has a niche service in Bountiful. Dr. Ward offers drug addiction therapy in Bountiful, treating patients with Suboxone® and other prescriptions to help them have a better quality of life.

In his free time, Dr. Ward likes running, reading, writing, Sudoku, and music. He is married with three children and speaks Spanish fluently.


Mark Christian, MD

Mark Christian was born in Salt Lake City and raised in Centerville, Utah. He is a graduate of Viewmont High School where he lettered in football, soccer, and track. Dr. Christian served a two-year LDS mission in Spain and is fluent in writing and speaking Spanish. His medical practice spans across all ages; Dr. Christian enjoys the diversity of patients he sees from children to adults.

In his free time, he likes outdoor activities, photography, fly-fishing, mountain biking and sports. Dr. Christian is happily married with six children.


Jennifer Crafton, FNP-C

Jennifer Crafton attended Marquette University for her undergraduate education before moving to Tucson, Arizona, where she met her husband. The two started a family and moved to Utah in 2001. Jennifer fell in love with Utah and decided to stay here permanently.  Jennifer worked as a registered nurse for 25 years and returned to school when her children were seniors in high school. She completed her Master’s degree at Maryville University and became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

During her career as a nurse, she’d worked in a variety of settings including cardiology, CCU, telemetry, medical-surgical, outpatient surgery, rehabilitation, home health and hospice. In her current practice, Jennifer enjoys working with individuals of all ages and especially enjoys older adults and geriatrics. She loves teaching and working with individuals on prevention, wellness, and managing chronic conditions.

In her free time, Jennifer likes spending time with her family, reading, learning, watching movies, doing puzzles, and spending time in the mountains hiking and camping. Her dogs, chickens, and large garden also keep her busy.


Sandra Hazzard, DNP, FNP, WHNP, CNM

Sandra was born in Salt Lake City, but lived all over the country before finally settling back in the mountain west. She studied at BYU and Weber State University, and then went on to the University of Utah to earn her Doctor of Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degrees. Along with providing family medicine at Ogden Clinic, Sandra has a special interest in helping women throughout all phases of life. She is a certified Nurse Midwife and Menopause Practitioner with NAMS. With undergraduate education in psychology, Sandra also enjoys integrating mental health into her practice. She helps patients of all ages manage depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.

Sandra enjoys spending time with her husband and three beautiful girls, doing puzzles, crocheting, and reading. She also loves the beach.
